Quilter’s Circle Contact:
Jeanne Rohrbacker Time: First and Third Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., Classroom 1. The group works on numerous quilting projects each year as an outreach ministry. The quilts welcome new babies, serve as a house warming gift to church members as they move into retirement homes, an dcomfort those who are seriously ill. Anyone with a knack for sewing and an interest in quilting is welcome.
Round Robin Dinner Groups (Sign up) Contact: Paul Quackenbush503-636-7000 This is a great way for newcomers, established members, singles and families to share fellowship and become better acquainted. Groups of 8-12 members typically form in the fall on a sign- up basis. The duration of the group is open- ended. The group may choose to meet until each participant has hosted once, or they can choose to continue to meet. While most groups opt to meet in homes, the church can be used as well. Just let the office know so that your space can be reserved. This is a great way to strengthen ties with your Emmauel Church family!
