There are many opportunities for the women at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church to fellowship with other women:

Women's Retreat

Our Annual Women's Retreat is held every spring at a retreat center near the church. Featuring an inspiring speaker, small group discussions, fellowship and fun, the annual Women's Retreat is THE PLACE to be in mid- spring!   

Our 2010 retreat was a TOTAL SUCCESS! We had over 30 women to share fellowship and fun with. We look forward to 2011 with anticipation. Plans are already underway.

Hespera

Once a month, the Hespera group gathers for a time of study, food, and fellowship at a member's home. Highlights of the group include an Annual Christmas Party in December and Women's Dine Out in June.

The Hespera Circle will be meeting the first Wednesdays of the month beginning in October on the 6th (2010). This group would love to include women who have not attended before. Carpooling can be arranged for those needing it by calling Vivian Rakel at 503-656-1868.

Evening Women
We meet on the third Monday of the month to discuss a current book or tv film that is related to faith issues. We continue our meetings through the summer months. New participants are always welcome.

This month we will be meetin on Monday, September 20th to discuss the book The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton. If you don't haevb time to read the book, come anyhow. We would love to have you.

The group meets in Classroom 1 at 7:30 p.m.


Women's Bible Study Luncheon

We meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, beginning Tuesday, September 8th, at 11:45 am. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Beverages are provided.
