Safe Haven Dinners
Providing monthly Saturday night socials for members of our community living with and recovering from mental illness is an important EPC outreach project that has continued for over ten years. The Saturday night socials are held the 4th Saturday of the month for 20 to 25 participants.  EPC volunteers provide dinner for the group and help with transportation.  Halloween, Thanksgiving, and December holidays offer opportunities for highlighting special occasions.  After dinner, participants socialize while playing cards, working on puzzles, or enjoying karaoke.

Sheltering Our Neighbors Network
The SON (Sheltering Our Neighbors) Network is a joint ministry of churches in Clackamas County, called by God to provide emergency shelter for homeless families in our county. The SON Network provides shelter at night, and three meals, for families with children. Families will be referred by several social service agencies and connected immediately, if they are not already in contact, with Northwest Housing Alternatives for case management Annie Ross House.

Care chain
Emmanuel is committed to ministering to each other during times of transition and hardship.  We’ve recently added an important ministry to ensure that a need within the EPC family can be answered by others willing and happy to assist–the Care Chain.  The Care Chain is intended to supplement and assist our existing care ministries by linking folks willing to help with those who could use some assistance, support, and encouragement.
Prayer Chain
The Emmanuel Prayer Chain is an ongoing ministry of prayer for members of the church, their family and friends, and anyone seeking support in time of pain, suffering, grief, need, concerns, and joys.  There are two options for participating in the prayer chain; telephone or e-mail.  Participants can join the prayer chain at any time by calling the coordinators.  Anyone can submit a prayer request by calling or e-mailing the coordinators as well.
Tanner Spring Ministry
Emmanuel Church provides worship services once a month to “home-bound” residents of our neighboring assisted living residence in West Linn, the Tanner Spring Assisted Living Community. Our musicians, adults and kids, all participate occasionally, but more volunteers are needed to provide music.  You can participate by welcoming and assisting residents during the service, providing a wider circle of fellowship, or assisting with setting up the chapel and communion. Your help is welcome on an occasional or monthly basis. Services are held the 4th Sunday of the month @ 9:30am.
Special Events & Offerings
Every Fall, we put on the Gifts of the Heart Alternative Giving Fair, contributing toward various non-profits near and dear to our hearts, and throughout the year we participate in the PCUSA special offerings: Peacemaking, Christmas Joy, and One Great Hour of Sharing.
