Sunday Morning Book Club – 9am
Our 9am Sunday Book Club is currently reading Take This Bread by Sara Miles. This book largely deals with two issues: hunger in America and how churches do (or don’t) live into a mission when it creates conflict. No need to have read the book. Come and enjoy our lively discussions. All are welcomed!
Men’s Bible Study Breakfast
At the West Linn McDonald’s, 8:00am on Tuesdays.
The group works on numerous quilting projects each year as an outreach ministry. The quilts welcome new babies, serve as a house warming gift to church members as they move into retirement homes, and comfort those who are seriously ill. Anyone with a knack for sewing and an interest in quilting is welcome. Meets the first and third Thursdays at 10:00am in the church building.
Women’s Bible Study Luncheon
We meet at noon on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays in Classroom 1.
Our study focus is the 2017-2018 Horizons Bible Study entitled “Cloud of Witnesses; The Community of Christ in Hebrews.” In this study we will look at nine themes about community in the 13 chapters of the Letters to the Hebrews. Please come and join the discussion. Beverages are provided. Bring your lunch, your thoughts, your caring presence, and your voice. Discussion will be inspiring.
